About Email Phishing
If you got an email from your IT department demanding you to change your password or else your account would be locked, would you? Many would and that urgency is the exact reaction these attackers are trying to stimulate. In this video I walk viewers through what email phishing is, how it works, what it looks like, and how users can protect themselves. Production Process
I began this video project by gathering all the resources into one place. This included original podcast recordings from my Project 7 podcast on email phishing, new A-roll recordings, B-roll images, videos, and screen recordings. I edited and uploaded all this media into Riverside.fm as my DAW. I used it because I am already familiar with the software and how to navigate and use it. I chose Youtube to upload the video onto because it offers good caption and cover photo customization. Additionally it allows viewers to watch directly off my webpage.
I was just checking over this and noticed the video time shows 1:59. My DAW shows exactly 2:00 minutes, but this embedded video player shows 1:59, I just wanted to flag the once second difference. Youtube also showed 2:00 when I uploaded it.
